Leslie Nicole is the founder and creative director of French Kiss Collections. An American photographer and designer, she now lives in the Loire Valley, France with her French husband, 3 Weimaraners and 1 cat. She has a degree in Fine Arts from the School of Architecture and Allied Arts at the University of Oregon.
Living more than 20 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, she worked professionally in photographic services, photography, hand-coloring, digital imaging, and design. She has been a guest instructor at the Academy of Art in S.F. and an assistant instructor for the Ansel Adams Photography Workshops in Yosemite, California. She was also one of the founders and first "Fearless Leaders" of the SF Bay Area InDesign User's Group. She's designed for companies such as Ernst & Young, Pepsico and Thomson's Electronics.
Today, she combines her professional experience in photography and design in French Kiss Collections creations. Like a magpie, she passionately collects visual sources, either by photographing the old stone walls of French Châteaux or scanning the treasures found from frequent visits to les Marchés aux Puces (Flea markets.) Her textures are inspired by the historical beauty around her from wall patinas of French Châteaux to vintage treasures gleaned from flea markets to add just a kiss of France to her designs. She is also daily at her paint table creating with Acrylics, watercolors and pastels to create fine art pieces for your artwork.
