Creating a grunged texture or digital paper design with grungy textured stripes.
I started with a slightly textured background sized 3600 x 3600 pixels. (I was using the CS6 version brush - the brushes are approximately 5000 px wide.)
I then added the brushes at 100% black, one brush per layer. I adjusted a few with the transform tool to my liking and then I used the Align feature in Photoshop to align them from the center points. When I had the layers as I liked them, I merged the striped brush layers. Next, I added a solid color adjustment layer with a clipping mask and changed the merged stripes layer to multiply.
I also added 2 other grungy overlays at multiply also with color clipping masks.
