Presenting 70 Brayered Masks To Enhance Your Photography and Design.
These masks were created by hand using paint and a roller, also called a brayer. This collection is a culmination of years of different creation sessions, which allows for a wide range of characteristics. Some are dark and dense, with others having more varied tones. Some are more watery while others have a rougher grunge. This gives you a lot of options for creativity. Combine and stack them for designs with a lot of depth. Idea: take a textured photo and mask it and place that on another texture.
Using the masks is very easy. Simply add your image (or texture or color!) and a mask to a document with a background layer. Place the image layer above the mask layer. With your image layer selected, choose Layers from the menu and then “Apply Clipping Mask”. Then, either resize your image or mask layer using the transform tool until the image completely covers the mask. Links to tutorials are included in the download.
These were professionally scanned and carefully edited and optimised. Most are between 3500px - 5000px with a few being a little smaller and some larger.
There are 3 Bonus versions included with vintage French Script stamped into the mask. Create your own by adding a layer mask to the mask layer and stamping with a brush in the layer.
Dive in and let your creativity soar!
