This Stargazer Lilies still life has the Fresco texture from the Tableaux Painterly collection. The little bit of texture in the white background gives it the feeling of old plaster when it was just smooth white.

Topaz Labs Clarity filter*
I also did a version adding the Topaz Labs Impression* filter and Detail filter. For the Impression filter I only applied the effect at maybe 50% so that it adds a touch of a painterly quality while retaining the overall detail. I often follow up Impression with the Detail filter for a crisper image.
As you can see, I had to fill in the bottom front of the table-top for the final version. I duplicated the texture and used the Normal blend mode to fill in the gaps.
